On behalf of my family, I would like to invite you to become a part of the Church at Dahlonega.  If you are looking for a place to build a relationship with Christ achurch, baptist church, dahlonega church, dahlonega baptist churchnd others, The Church at Dahlonega is the place for you.  Our vision is not to displace people from other places of service, but to partner with individuals who have yet to find their niche within the body of Christ.  John 10:10 records one of the Bible's greatest promises, "I have come that you might have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."  That promise has two dimensions.  First, Jesus Christ promises eternal life through our acceptance of Him as Savior.  Second, because of eternal life, we have the promise of abundant joy as we serve Him and one another.  One of our greatest convictions is that we believe that through a relationship with Christ we can find hope for life, relationships, community and the world.  With great anticipation we look forward to serving you and partnering together in this great community.

In Christ,

Announcements

While we may think of Operation Christmas Child as a shoebox filled with presents for deprived children, it is actually the cheapest short- term mission trip available. It is not the gifts, though they are wonderful, but the gospel which has long term affects. Each box carries a booklet based on the gospel of John.

A single box, many of which go to countries closed to the Christian gospel, touches approximately 11 people since many people at the sites are involved with this project.   In Afghanistan, a country with no churches and closed to the gospel, boxes may be delivered to an orphanage with two large rooms housing 50 children in each. What a mission field!

The community will bring boxes to our churches the week of November 14 through 21.  If you can help us with the times below, please let us know.  There will be more information and a sigh up sheet at the church.

Start packing your “GO” (Gospel Opportunities) boxes. Call David or Bobbie Lancaster at 706-867-9206 or e-mail us at bclancas@gmail.com if you have questions.
