Pastor Paul's Messages

Pastor's Message

Hebrews 12:1-2 declares: “Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

If only we could see how many people are pulling for us to be all we can be for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  If our eyes could be fully opened we would see that there really is a great cloud of witnesses.  In fact, every follower Christ throughout the history of mankind is at this very moment cheering us on to never give up on the fact that we can make a difference.

This week I want to look at the life of a great individual who was informed of a great crisis that broke his heart.  He was seemingly powerless to help but he was driven to pray and fast.  The result was that in his prayer he not only asked God to intervene, he asked to be part of the solution.  If this man could appear to us from this great cloud of witnesses, how would he encourage us today?

I believe that he would tell us that regardless of our position and life status, that we shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help.  The message this week will reveal to us how one man changed a seemingly hopeless situation into a lifelong testimony for God because he realized no problem is too big or too tough to handle when we have help from God and others.

God never intended that we go it alone but He does intend that we go together.  Don’t miss this inspiring message that reveals through Scripture the impact one person can make when they seek God’s blessing and the help of others.

Blessings, Pastor Paul
